Aesop Kronprinsengade

Earthen tones of stained oak, paving stones and darkened copper, we created a warmly enveloping experience for the exclusive skincare brand Aesop. A nod to nearby landmark the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, we developed the freestanding counters and sinks and flooring pattern with master bricklayer Jens Østergaard. Curved walls and furniture radiate from the focal point of the shop, a massive illuminated disc reflected above a circular motif in the floor. A bespoke door to back-of-house and inbuilt shelving with integrated lighting made with custom veneer, CNC-shaped solid oak scent display - all wooden elements were drawn and built in-house. Custom steel entry door and copper sinks designed in-house and produced by local metalworkers.
