With right angles virtually nonexistent, and every square millimeter covered in sandy microcement, one feels like they are entering some sort of alien neo-expressionist grotto blasted in cold light. It was a welcome challenge to develop, produce and install Jacquemus’ dreamy shop-in-shop. A massive, suede-lined vitrine drawer serves as a focal point to undulating shelving, with a curved, 3m high hidden door, integrated lighting, and exclusively invisible hardware.
