Skejby Psychiatric Center

In close collaboration with Tal R and Allan Lyth we created a site-specific interior for the Psychiatric Center in Skejby, the central elements of which are images and artifacts from nearby Museum Ovartaci. The interior shifts the boundaries of how we perceive an institution, challenging traditional understanding of presence and interaction within an institutional environment. The result is a warm, safe and inviting place. We produced the concrete elements, all the wooden structures together with the upholstered furniture in accordance with the color palette of Tal R. All the interior was hand built and manufactured at our workshop.
